Access Is denied error 0x80070005  in windows 7.
 trying to back up with "windows back up" which takes 7 or 8 hours I have a new seagate 500 gb external drive formatted with ntsb, the only anti virus software I have installed is Microsoft Security Essentials,
the UAC is set to " only notify me when a program is trying to make changes to my computer.
   it always seems to get 90 percent done and then it stops with this error.
please help.
 I have tried several times and get the same thing

Boot in Safe Mode:

  • Open Run command as previously described
  • Type MSConfig
  • Click on Boot tab
  • Tick Safe boot in Boot option
  • Select Network
  • Click Apply and OK
  • Reboot your system

Your system will boot in Safe mode with Networking. You may now try and open Windows Store and should not see any errors.
