After upgrading to Windows 7, Wireless Connectivity is failing.

I have checked driver upgrades and configuration and the problem persists.
Origianl Title: I upgraded to windows 7 more than 6months ago and have had continued problems with my wireless conectivity at home.
what could be casing this?

Hi,  
 
Are you using the latest driver for your wireless adapter? What is the make and model of your laptop?
Do you receive any error message? If “Yes”, please provide the exact/complete error message.Are you able to access to Internet?
 
Try the basic methods mentioned below and check after each step.
If Step 1/method 1 does not work then try for next step and check:

Run Network troubleshooter in Windows 7

Method 2: Release and renew IP address:
a)      Open Command Prompt
b)      In the Command Prompt, type the following commands one after another
and press Enter key.
ipconfig /release
ipconfig/renew
c)      Restart the computer and check.
 
Note: You may need to run Network Diagnostics afterwards to repair your connection after this.
 
Method 3: Uninstall the driver and install the latest Network adapter driver:
a)      Open Device Manager
b)      Expand Network Adapter.
c)      Right click on the wireless network card and select
Uninstall.
d)      Restart the computer.
Update the drivers from the manufacturer’s website.

In this method we will try to Boot in Safe mode with Networking and see if the error still persists.

  • Search "MSCONFIG" and Open.
  • Click on Boot Tab
  • Tick Safe Boot in Boot Option
  • Select Network.
  • Click Apply and OK.
  • Reboot your System.
