Bought 7 ultimate to enable easy homegroup setup but get error message enable IPv6, which control panel states is enabled

Bought 7 ultimate, which I now have on both my laptops, to enable easy homegroup setup.But I get error message "enable IPv6", which control panel states is enabled.
Properties are set to Obtain IPv6 address and DNS server address automatically on both
computers.Edited registry to add DisabledComponents value 0 to TCPIP6 parameters, still get same error message which no trouble shooter can solve.
Have also tried leaving Home group and setting up from scratch with same result.
