Belkin n52te 15 Button USB Gaming Controller

Without knowing that this controller wasn't compatible with Windows 7 64 I installed the software and drivers fine, and it even works properly.
I guess the only problem is that when I unplug the controller my laptop resets, without BSOD.
No big deal or anything
because if I don't want to use it I can just simply shut down Windows and disconnect it and power back up.
My question is, anyone else out there that has found a solution with a modded driver or a work around??

Since Microsoft doesn't create the drivers, as you stated, you would need to get updated drivers for Windows 7 from Belkin for the gaming controller.
I would also assume the unknown device would be the device without a driver.

Run CHKDSK to Fix Belkin n52te 15 Button USB Gaming Controller

Go to the Start button.
In the Search box, type "cmd" (without quotes) and press Enter.
At the command prompt, type "chkdsk /r /f" (without quotes) and press Enter.
Reboot your computer.

An error might pop up:

"Access denied as you do not have significant privileges. You have to invoke this utility in elevated mode."

If you receive the above error message, it means you are not logged into you computer as an Administrator. If that's the case, follow these steps to run the command prompt in elevated mode:

Go to theStart button.
Go to "All Programs > Accessories" and right click on "Command Prompt".
Select "Run as Administrator".
In the Search box, type "cmd" (without quotes) and press Enter.
At the command prompt, type "chkdsk /r /f" (without quotes) and press Enter.
Reboot your computer.
