Can't install a SSD on my new HP?

Tonight I called HP Tech Support to ask if I changed the operating system to a SSD on my New Envy Phoenix 800-070st Desktop if it would void my warranty.
The tech took fifteen minutes telling me why I can't add a SSD to my computer which was that it wasn't
made for it.
Then in a matter of fact statement said by the way it would also void your warranty.
Do you believe this ****? Is this really True?

Given that the Envy you have can be configured with an SSD I doubt he knows what he is talking about on that score.
It may already have one but that you can find out in a heartbeat.  I have no idea on the warranty issues but his lack of knowledge makes me suspicious

Boot in Safe Mode:

• Open Run command as previously described
• Type MSConfig
• Click on Boot tab
• Tick Safe boot in Boot option
• Select Network
• Click Apply and OK
• Reboot your system

Your system will boot in Safe mode with Networking. You may now try and open Windows Store and should not see any errors.
